Documentation

Welcome to the documentation of SysCP.

We hope to give you some valuable information about the installation of SysCP and the configuration of the daemons which are supported by SysCP. If you find any mistakes please report them in our Forums or create a new Page within the contrib namespace, which is writable to all registerd users, and file a bugreport that you have created a new doc page.

Installation Guides

General Guide

In the GeneralInstallGuide we describe to you, how SysCP is installed and how the configuration of the Daemons work. Although we don't and will not provide any detailed information in this document, it should give you an overview about the installation of SysCP.

For those of you who just want the have an overview about the daemons which SysCP is able to work with might be interested in the SysCP daemons overview page.

The quick guide will give you a even more basic outline of the SysCP installation. It deals with unpacking the source and the nessesary settings for a Debian based system.

There is also an ultimate admin/user-guide for SysCP, but it is a little outdated and still in the state of a working copy. It is mentioned here just for completeness.

System Specific Guides

NOTE: Those guides below where written for one configuration and are neither complete nor free from mistakes.

Migration Guides

Since it came up a couple of times now, how to migrate from one server to another the ServerMirgrationGuide will give you some hints.

Another often asked question is the migration form SysCP 1.2.x to 1.4.x. This is described in the UpdateFrom1.2To1.4Guide
