Don't trust the developers, if they say, SysCP is cool. But users think the same, as you can read below ;)
Of course you are free to add your own comments about SysCP.

Statement User/Source
“I have always been the outsider of our class, and even after school I never had much luck with the other sex, but this all changed after I installed syscp, only 10 minutes later a hot chick knocked on my door and wanted to have rough sex. I say SysCP changed my life” randomly chosen email we recieved

[21:36:26] <reber> Gnarfoz, about global feeling what do you think of both panels (this is not a troll, but a serious question, i'm personnaly fed up with vhcs because it can't handle sub domains properly)
[21:36:53] <Gnarfoz> I like syscp much better because of the cleaner back-end implementation
[21:37:01] <Gnarfoz> vhcs always kept messing with my config files
[21:37:32] <reber> ok
[21:37:36] <Gnarfoz> there's some things I dislike about the feature set of the web control panel
[…]
[21:38:18] <Gnarfoz> like not being able to have 'this user has this and that privileges' but only 'admin yes/no' - but I already know that's going to be implemented in 1.4 (I heard)
[21:38:36] <EleRas> Gnarfoz: indeed, coming with 1.4
[21:38:36] <Gnarfoz> most of all, syscp is still actively developed, something that can't be said of VHCS
